Althea Johnson Agency has unveiled a new charity campaign in their ongoing community involvement program serving the families of Long Island. Life’s WORC Family Center for Autism is dedicated to providing supportive services, guidance and community to families dealing with the many challenges of autism. Family Center for Autism (FCA) provides a lifespan of support and services for those with autism, as well as a crucial lifeline to family members. The agency’s fundraiser focuses specifically on the FCA’s ‘Social Scene’ program, created especially for young people experiencing difficulties with social skills. The program offers kids opportunities to connect with each other and grow socially with planned activities such as Movie Night, Dinner and Music Night, Games Night and more. Participation in the Social Scene program costs $525 per person for a twelve-week session.
