At last count, more than 2 million people have fled the nation of Ukraine due to ongoing hostilities with Russia. The vast majority of these displaced people are women and children who were forced to leave with nothing more than the clothes on their backs and a hastily packed suitcase. They now face hunger, disease, and extremely difficult living conditions in refugee camps along the Ukrainian border.
This number will almost certainly increase as the war continues, creating a massive humanitarian crisis that could lead to a devastating loss of life in the long term.
The International Rescue Committee urgently needs assistance in providing these displaced families with food, water, and medicine. They are also in dire need of everyday items you and I take for granted, like soap, warm clothes, or a simple coloring book for their child.
Our heart goes out to the families in Ukraine who have been forced to leave their homes and march across the dangerous, war-torn country. We want to help and we hope you do too. Our goal is to raise $500 for the IRC over the next six months, and we will donate $10 in your name every time you refer someone to our agency for a FREE insurance quote or review. Even better – every person you refer will earn you an entry into our monthly drawing for a $50 gift card and our yearly drawing for a new iPad. Please don’t wait, these families need our help immediately.
